Cause for Effect (Semper Memento) is a 501(c)(3) corporation that serves independent organizations that promote the health and well-being of victims of crises. As such, Cause for Effect has no authority over the policies and decisions of the organizations we help, nor can we be held responsible for their actions. That said, Cause for Effect is committed to diligently vetting any service we assist. All entities that benefit from our service must be 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporations that can prove the demographic they assist is A) in need and B) at risk.

Donor Information

Cause for Effect safeguards the personal information, ensuring respect for privacy and protection for donors, employees, volunteers, clients, vendors, and corporations who work with us. We use personal information to send out information about our programs, events, and funding needs. We respect all requests to remain anonymous and always provide an opt-out procedure so those who receive our communications can have their names and contact information deleted from our system. Cause for Effect complies with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS), a set of requirements designed to ensure that companies that process, store, or transmit credit card information maintain a secure environment.
